The people of Kwara State are suffering for water, after almost N8Billion had been spent on imaginary water projects by both Bukola Saraki, the immediate past governor and current senate president of Nigeria and Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed, the incumbent governor in the last 15 years with no result.

Frontline Presidential Candidate in Nigeria, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has vowed to tackle cancer headlong if elected president in the 2019 presidential election. The candidate running on the platform of People’s Trust (PT) told women group in the South West, under the aegis of Women for Hashim (WfH), that it was time Nigerian halt the devastating effect of cancer. He stressed that the Cancer programme is dear to me, especially after listening to his daughter, Ifeaoluwa, who said: “‘Dad, I wonder how many Nigerian women can afford this vaccine at N33, 000.00 when the minimum wage is N18, 000? Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)has built a massive edifice along Jabbi and Airport Road, which is going to be used as its new head office. Mr Rights sighted the new structure, which is located directly opposite National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) headquarters, Abuja. Obasanjo, Buhari Planning Interim Govt —FG

The Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan, on Monday, said a plot by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to form an interim government has been uncovered. The minister said this in Lagos at the launch of a book titled, ‘Watch the Watcher,’ written by an activist, Yinka Odumakin, in reaction to Obasanjo’s controversial book, ‘My Watch’. Adesiyan said he had already directed the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba; and the Department of State Service to arrest anybody that made inflammatory statements ahead of the 2015 elections. He said, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have started to heat up the polity.
