Kwara Water Problem in Summary

The people of Kwara State are suffering for water, after almost N8Billion had been spent on imaginary water projects by both Bukola Saraki, the immediate past governor and current senate president of Nigeria and Governor Abdulfatai Ahmed, the incumbent governor in the last 15 years with no result.

Prof Yemi Osibanjo has dropped the final card, the ethnic card is one which only desperate politicians use, I remember meeting with him in November last year where we deliberated on very important national issues but I noticed we were all Christians. Agbaje Promises Free Internet Access To Lagosians If He Wins

The Governorship candidate of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, Jimi Agbaje has promised to offer free internet access in the state if elected. He assured that Lagosians would no longer pay for internet connection once he becomes Governor. Corps Member Builds & Tests Drone In Osun

Osun State Deputy Governor, Mrs. Titi Laoye-Tomori, among other dignitaries, watched in admiration how a drone built by a corps member posted to Osun State took off and carried out surveillance of the parade ground at the Permanent Orientation Camp of the National Youth Service Corps on Monday. The corps member, Olaolu Ayoola, a graduate of Computer Science/ Engineering of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, stole the show with his project during the closing ceremony of the orientation course for the 2014 batch ‘C’ of corps members deployed in the state. The drone, which soldiers and other security agents present at the event described as a good one, flew for about 10 minutes before it landed. The management of the University of Ilorin has debunked media reports that one of its students, Mr. Adigun Emmanuel Adewale of the Faculty of Agriculture, who committed suicide last Thursday (November 29, 2018) resorted to the unsavory action to ventilate his frustration over his failure in his final year project. In a statement signed by its Director of Corporate Affairs, Mr. Kunle Akogun, and made available to newsmen on Thursday (December 6, 2018), the University said that painstaking investigations revealed that the late Mr. Adigun took his own life as an eventual culmination of his pathetic drug addiction, which he must have unwisely adopted to address the prolonged depression he suffered as a result of personal challenges he could not bear.
