Truth makes me brave

Even though I often deal with scary and painful topics, realities that people get in trouble for talking about, somehow I also feel quite safe. I remember when, years ago, I realized deeply why I should. It seemed to me that "they" couldn't catch me if they couldn't find me, and that they couldn't find me if they couldn't see me, and that they couldn't see me without being enlightened, and that they couldn't be enlightened without being in touch with Creator, Love, and that if they were in touch with Love, then they could no longer want to hurt me. By the time they had eyes to see me, their hearts would be well again. I knew there was no door to the Most High that one could enter from a path which includes hurtfulness towards others. Only infinite diversions back to reckoning with your hurtful self in those realms... It's true that by the time they can really see me, they will no longer want to hurt me. Kwara Youths stone Saraki,chased him out of their community

Senate President Bukola Saraki was today stoned and chased out of Lafiaji town by youths that are opposed to his visit to their community, over the Senate President's attempt to shield Senator Lafiaji from prosecution and prevent justice in the murder of 3 Lafiaji youths. Recall that on 17th November 2017, 3 youths of Lafiaji town were shot dead by soldiers attached to Mr. Shaaba Lafiaji, a senator representing Kwara North senatorial district, while many others were equally injured. The unfortunate incident led to burning a building belonging to Senator Lafiaji. The Senate President visited Lafiaji today to meet with the traditional ruler and other leaders of the community. However, after meeting with the royal father, Senator Bukola Saraki informed the emir that he would be visiting families of the victims in that cruel incident, a development that sparks anger among the youths. Residents of Kwara Local Govt Vow to boycott election due to neglect

Kwara Must Change wishes to bring to public attention once again, that the youths and peaceful people of Baruten Local Government Area of Kwara State have resolved to stay away from participating in any election until their local government is visited with infrastructural development, particularly in terms of provision of access road to Baruten Local government, provision of electricity, schools and medical facilities. The people said they are tired of a situation in which many of their children attend schools in the neighboring Benin Republic because there is no school in their own place. They are tired of going to another country for medical attention because there is no hospital in their own local government. Kwara Must Change observed that, while the Benin Republic axis is fortified with infrastructure such good roads, bridges, electricity & medical amenities, the Nigerian axis remains in a sorry state and the people want this ugly situation changed.
