Buhari Planning To Smuggle New Certificate To INEC Through Backdoor – FFK

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation on Wednesday raised the alarm that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, is trying to smuggle a newly acquired certificate into the Independent National Electoral Commission through the backdoor. The PDPPCO declared that if INEC allows such a thing happen, it will put a serious question mark on its impartiality and credibility of the commission. The Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, raised the alarm at a press conference in Abuja. Fani-Kayode contended that if INEC has received the certificate of the APC presidential flag bearer, it would mean that it (the commission) has collected his newly-acquired certificate 40 days outside the stipulation of the law. Chief Fani-Kayode, in the text of his address, titled: “Certificate Saga: Buhari Sinks Deeper With Lies,” said: “Yesterday (Tuesda

We Saw Helicopters Dropping Arms, Food For Boko Haram – Idps

We Saw Helicopters Dropping Arms, Food For Boko Haram – IDPs — Jan 29, 2015 Displaced residents of Monguno, in Borno State, which was recently taken over by Boko Haram, have said they saw helicopters dropping arms and food items for the insurgents in the bushes. The IDPs, who said they spent about 48 hours in the bush running towards Maiduguri, expressed worry that the Boko Haram sect was not the only ones involved in the insurgency, but that there are many foreign fighters and some external supports. Leader of the Nigeria Vigilante Group in Monguno, Muhammed Sani,50, said he had, on several occasions, spotted unusual delivery of items in big wooden boxes by air, and sacks being dropped in the bushes around Marte and Monguno where Boko Haram terrorists were camped. “Even during the attack on Monguno, there was an aircraft that came but did not do anything, not even dropping a single bomb before it left; then another one later came around the Monguno barrack

Fact emerge, President Jonathan falsified his age

Image
New facts emerging are putting into dispute the official age given by the President of Nigeria on his public service documents. Accounts from the president himself and others who dare to provide information suggest that contrary to his stated age—being born on November 20, 1957; the president was born several, perhaps 10 years earlier and is over 60 years old. President Jonathan said in 2011 while giving his Christmas Carol address: “I remember the day I was chatting with a group of elders and they said after the war there was electricity everywhere, they travelled out and so on. I came to live in Port Harcourt in 1955. Even then, it was only Port Harcourt that had electricity, even the big cities, Bonny. But now, government must make sure even the smallest village and settlements have electricity light.” See story here--> http://www.cp-africa.com/2011/12/17/why-fuel-subsidy-must-go-now-by-president-goodluck-jonathan/ on CP-Africa . Can GEJ Defeat Boko Haram?

1) 200 Chibok girls missing for 290 days, kidnapped by Boko Haram and GEJ has done nothing? When will GEJ ‪#‎BringBackOurGirls‬? Thousands other women and children have been abducted? When will GEJ as Commander-in-Chief bring them home? 2) Why is Dasuki calling our brave Military heroes 'cowards' before a British audience and GEJ says nothing to defend our valiant troops? 3) Why are our soldiers owed salaries and allowances despite the trillions budgeted for security? Why are our troops buying their own uniforms? 4) What is GEJ spending the defence budget on, when no significant military hardware has been purchased for 20 years? 5) Why did the Military do nothing about Baga and Monguno despite getting warnings before the attack? Why hasn't GEJ questioned his military commanders about this? 6) What is GEJ doing about Baga? Almost 4000 structures destroyed. Almost 2000 Nigerians killed? Why were our fellow Nigerians not evacuated from these towns despite the Military command

Explain The Source Of Your Terrorists Tapes; PDP Tells APC

ABUJA-NATIONAL leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP has asked the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, APC and its leadership to as a matter of urgency explain the source of tapes of terrorist attacks on innocent Nigerians in their possession, which they intend to air designed to achieve what it termed, their selfish purpose. In a statement yesterday night by PDP National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, the PDP said, “Indeed, upon the release of the tapes, the APC must explain to Nigerians how it got hold of them. We ask, is the APC working in collaboration with terrorist cells, who have been unleashing violence against innocent citizens of our dear nation? “Are these the same terrorist groups that earlier nominated the APC Presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari to represent them in the dialogue between them and the Federal Government? “Nigerians should be worried over the connections the APC might have with insurgent groups es

Okonjo-Iweala Attacks Soludo, Says He Is Nigeria's Worst CBN Governor Ever

The Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Wednesday took the former Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Chukwuma Soludo, to the cleaners over his criticism of President Goodluck Jonathan’s management of the country’s economy, saying his comments amounted to committing “intellectual hara-kiri”. The Minister, who spoke through her Special Adviser on Media, Paul Nwabuikwu, accused Mr. Soludo of single-handedly mismanaging the country’s banking sector between May 2004 and May 2009 and plunging the country into “an incredible accumulation of liabilities that will cost tax payers about N5.67 trillion”. Mrs. Okonjo-Iweala, apparently livid, described the former CBN governor as “an embittered loser in the Nigerian political space” who is “so derailed” to “commit intellectual harakiri by deliberately misquoting economic facts and maliciously turning statistics on their head to justify a hatchet job”. “Soludo has shamelessly pandered to so many past leaders that Nigerians are

Only Guarantee For Steady Power Is Voting Out PDP, Says Fasola

Governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Raji Fashola has said that the only way to get uninterrupted electricity supply in the country is to vote out the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP from power come 2015. I agree with you it is simple with what we have done in

Buhari, A 'Man Of Integrity', Lied Under Oath

Buhari, A 'Man Of Integrity', Lied Under Oath - Femi Aribisala THESE are interesting times. Muhammadu Buhari, the APC presidential candidate whose only policy plank is that he will fight against corruption without wavering, is not as straight-forward as he would have Nigerians believe. Buhari lied under oath. He perjured himself claiming his school-leaving certificate is with the military. This has now been revealed to be a tissue of lies. This is a scandal of immense proportions in an aspiring presidential candidate. Under no circumstances should it be swept under the carpet. For this blatant perjury, Buhari must be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. It should also lead to his disqualification from contesting for election as president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. In the language of Buhari’s own anti-corruption rhetoric, Nigeria must be shown to be a nation of laws and of the rule of law. No man, no matter how highly-placed, no matter his ethnic or

Apc's Reply To Prof Charles Soludo, says APC have perfect plan to fix Nigeria

We commend Professor Chukwuma Soludo’s for his insightful and incisive article published on January 26th in the Vanguard Newspaper, The Nation Newspaper and major online news platforms under the above title. We agree with Professor Soludo that if the political parties, including ours, must justify the overwhelming enthusiasm of Nigerians about the 2015 elections we must remain focused on the issues that matter most to them, which is the progress of our country and the well being of our people. Indeed, this has been the driving conviction of our party and our campaign all along. While we accept his critical comments on our party, more for the intentions than for the letters, we believe some clarifications would be quite necessary. We wish to emphasise that our party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), presents a real option to Nigerians. Professor Soludo expressed the sentiments of most Nigerians when he spoke about the incalculable damage that the PDP under President Jonatha

President Jonathan Disrespected My Office By Taking Over Stadium - Amaechi

The Rivers State Governor, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, has said that contrary to President Goodluck Jonathan’s claim, the President is not interested in a free and fair election. Amaechi, who was reacting to soldiers’ occupation of the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium ahead of the Jonathan’s political campaign in the state on Wednesday, said the action of the President was an indication that he (Jonathan) was opposed to democratic norms. The governor, who spoke in Government House in Port Harcourt on Sunday, explained that it was wrong for President Jonathan to order soldiers to take over the state-owned stadium, even when approval was not given by the state government. He argued that a President should have respected the position of the state government in an ideal federation, particularly after telling the Peoples Democratic Party to use the Liberation Stadium. Amaechi said, “Why is the President insisting on using the Adokiye Amiesamaka Stadium after we have told the PDP that work is currentl

Igbo think-tank, Aka Ikenga, on Saturday said it will not heed the advice of the leader of Niger Delta Peoples Volunteer Force (NDPVF), Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, asking the Igbo in the Northern part of the country to leave. Its president, Goddy Uwazurike, in a telephone chat with Sunday Independent, said while Asari is free to give his advice, the Igbo are not under obligation to do as he said. Asari, at a press briefing in Abuja, had warned the Igbo and the members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), who currently reside in the North to return home, as they would have themselves to be blamed should anything happen to them. According to him, “All Igbo people who are there, if you don’t come back home and you want to continue to be there and something happens to you, there is nobody to be blamed. “If you have a child who is a youth corper and you allow him to be there, you will not hold anybody responsible.” But, Uwazurike, who said running away when some

2015 Election Shift May Return Military Rule - Ex-Generals Brigadier-General Ayodele Ojo (retd.) Some retired senior military officers have warned against the postponement of the February general elections to avoid military takeover of the administration of the country. They warned that the postponement might lead to anarchy in the country, which, according to them, may lead to military intervention. A former Director of Procurement in the Defence Headquarters, Brigadier-General Ayodele Ojo (retd.), in an interview with SUNDAY PUNCH, described the recent call made by the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki, for the general elections to be postponed as a step towards military rule. According to Ojo, the suggestion by the NSA for the deferment of the polls is capable of creating a constitutional crisis that can abort the nation’s democracy. On Thursday, Dasuki stated that the postponement of next month’s elections would give the Independent Nationa
