SHEIKH GUNMI AND GENERAL BUHARI, THE BITTER TRUTH

Image
Abdulrazaq O Hamzat (Mr.rights) Last week, I expressed my view about the candidature of president Goodluck Jonathan and General Muhammed Buhari and my position was simple, both men do not have what it takes to lead Nigeria come 2015. Let the two divisive candidates step aside for other better unifying candidates for the good of this nation I submitted. He advised both People Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressive Congress (APC) not to field both men, urging both parties to consider other acceptable candidates for the good of Nigeria. Having been criticised for this sound advice, especially by the supporters of General Muhammed Buhari, Sheikh Gunmi went further to write an open letter to the retired general, explaining why he should never contest the 2015 electio

Marriage is an issue of morality not legality. If you are tied by legality, your marriage can only be maintained by legality and if you are tied with morality, that’s what can sustain your marriage. The foundation of a union determines the conduct in it. To my understanding, Legal marriage makes couple act like legal competitors, they are never free to express themselves to bridge their different backgrounds. While they profess love and smile, deep inside them, they focus more on their legal grounds. At every slight misunderstanding which are inevitable in any marriage, their mind goes straight to their legal position. The husband don’t want to correct his wife on what displeases him in her conduct because he doesn’t know her next reaction, while the wife on the other hand is always being careful to have legal advantage in case they have to resort to where they started (court). Here, they are already preparing their separation even on their wedding day. How can there

10 REASONS WHY APC IS NOT BETTER THAN PDP BY MR.RIGHTS

An activist friend of mine, IG wala has declared his intention to contest the 2015 election under the platform of the PDP in his state, Gombe. And ever since his declaration, some people have littered the social media space with all sort of uninformed posting, condemnation, questioning his decision to join a party that has destroyed Nigeria since 1999 as if the PDP is the name of somebody.  To the best of my knowledge, Nobody is called PDP, we only have PDP members. A PDP member today can also become an APC member tomorrow and vice ver sa. But whatever individuals do while in a party, others who are members of the party cannot be held responsible for other peoples action, neither can their bad actions prevent other from joining the same party to advance the cause of good governance. In this instance, PDP is a national platform for all those who aspire to govern, some use it for good, while other use it for bad. In view of this, I wish to educate those who speak out of
