The Yoruba origins of the name Moses

Image
First of all, there is no name like Moses, just like there is no name like Jesus. Both those names are made up names that the European translators of the Hebrew and Aramaic Scriptures transliterated and substituted for the actual names that were in Scripture which are Moshe (Moses) and Yehoshua or Yeshu’a (Jesus). Why did people like the Dutch priest, Desiderius Erasmus Roterodamus, and other bible scholars change the names of Bible characters? After all, if you are translating a document, you translate everything but the names. Could it be that these Europeans had a hidden agenda? The Bible, as it was originally written is the undiluted word of God. However, it may shock my readers to learn that notable figures involved in translating the Bible into European languages, were members of fraternal orders. For example many of those involved in The King James Version of The Bible, first released in 1611, were Freemasons. This is a historical and documented fact which even the Church of

Hate is an obstacle To life

Image
When you hate someone, for whatever reason, you loose. Hate makes you a looser. Because you hate the Christians, you loose all the good things Christians can add to your life Because you hate the the Muslims, you deny yourself opportunity to the beauty of the Muslims heart Because you hate the Hausa, Yoruba or Igbo, you are shutting the door of progress that may have come from people of those tribes. Why hate the prostitute, the stingy or introvert acquaintance? Aren't you aware that there is goodness in everyone? Know this, you can't change people by hating them. "You can't win them over also " Winning people over often come from the place of love, not hate. Hating people takes you far away from them. It makes you so unhappy than them. If there is hate in your heart, in there lies your pain. Unhate everyone you hate and your life will be free from obstacle, yet full with joy. Abdulrazaq O Hamzat

Oby Ezekwesili tricked with fake prophecy to run for 2019 Presidency

Image
Many were surprised when the Co-Founder of Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG), Madam Oby Ezekwesili suddenly joined Nigeria’s presidential race in October 2018 shortly before the close of nomination. A lot of questions were raised about what prompted the former Minister of Education into joining the presidential race at such a die minute without adequate preparation. Mr Rights have now exclusively gathered that Madam Oby Ezekwesili was tricked with fake prophecy to run for the 2019 presidential election in Nigeria, Africa’s most populous nation. The fake prophecy was allegedly delivered to her in Lagos by a fake pastor known as Dania Emmanuel. Recall that as at August 2018, Madam Oby was yet to be interested in running for the number one position in the country. As a matter of fact, she moderated an event organized by Presidential Aspirants Coming Together (PACT) on August 31st 2018 to produce a consensus candidate among the new breed presidential aspirants at the time. However, Ma

Olawepo Hashim explained why CBN has failed to grow Nigeria’s economy in the past 20 years

The Peoples Trust (PT) and third force presidential candidate, Mr Olawepo Hashim has set out the criteria to select a Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor to restructure the economy for growth and indigenous technology should he emerge as President of Nigeria in 2019. The global business mogul stated that, the governor of central bank must be somebody who aligns with the vision to completely restructure the Nigerian economy, to make it a productive economy. ‘’You cannot be a central bank governor that is beholding to the interest of money lender almost in the past 20 years and the bankers and money lender have been controlling the central bank and the central bank has been ordered along their interests rather than along the mandate of building a solid productive economy and creating employment’’. He remarked on the current practice by CBN: ‘’They only see employment creation as CSR (corporate social responsibility) to demonstrate that they are intervening. You are not just su
