Draw example from Jesus Christ, Olawepo Hashim urges Christians

In this season of Christmas I join our Nigerian Christian community to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. The commemoration of the birth of Christ presents us with an opportunity to be our neighbours’ keeper, to show love to the less privileged in our society and to do more good to all around us. In keeping with the teachings of Christ, I enjoin every Nigerian to foster peace and to draw from the example of Christ by providing shelter to those who can't afford to have one within this period. As we celebrate, let us also remember the sacrifice of our men and women in uniform, who constantly put their life on the line to protect and preserve our Nation. Let us remember those who have lost their life in the fight for our unity and lend a helping hand to the family they left behind. Breaking News: AD presidential candidate stepped down for Olawepo Hashim

In the early hours of today, Prince Eniola Ojajuni - Presidential Candidate contesting on the platform of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) officially stepped down for Mr. Gbenga Olawepo Hasimi, the Presidential Flag Bearer of the People's Trust Party (PT) after due consultations with the National Party Leaders of the Alliance for Democracy, Governorship, House of Assembly, House of Senate and Representative Candidates of over 18 states contesting on the same platform and other support groups across the country. In furtherance, Prince Eniola Ojajuni admitted it was a difficult decision to make because of his love and patriotic act for Nigeria. He therefore used this medium to appreciate all Nigerian Youths that have been supportive from the beginning of the race to this present moment and made a vow to continually fight for a new Nigeria. Prof Yemi Osinbajo should resign

Prof Yemi Osibanjo has dropped the final card, the ethnic card is one which only desperate politicians use, I remember meeting with him in November last year where we deliberated on very important national issues but I noticed we were all Christians. It's quite unfortunate that the ruling party does not have projects and results to use to campaign but rather would resort to using ethnicity in our already dangerously divided nation.
