The Mind Versus the Heart

The mind and heart are the two opposing forces that create the illusion and tension and balance that comprise the lower worlds. The mind fabricates illusion, the heart, truth. And so, man's great challenge in this next age is to quiet the raucous mind and allow it to quietly rest and to open the heart to hearing and perceiving the truth and love of higher realms that Soul does wish to say to it. The mind does perceive of life as an illusion to be won at higher and higher levels with no end or final destination in sight, only that for each new level gained, whether in financial achievement, sports, homes, jobs, educational degrees, cars, clothes, wives or whatever is the case, the mind does always seek a greater level of gratification and pleasure and accomplishment and does tell the lower self that only if this next level can be achieved shall true happiness and pleasure be finally known and realized. And this is the great paradox of the illusion, for it is a game that never can

Kwara Must Change wishes to call attention of the Kwara State government and the general public to a death trap called bridge being used by motorist between Tsaragi and Bacita community in Kwara State. The image attached to this message is a plank bridge constructed by the people of Tsaragi and Bacita community to enable them cross to each other for daily businesses and other activities. In the past

In the past By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat Don’t live in your past. Don’t dwell on your past. Don’t crush a lovely and viable present because of a past. A past is exactly what it is, a past. Enjoy the new you. Enjoy the present person you are dealing with. Your past is long gone, it doesn’t matter anymore. Some people have committed so many atrocities in the past, probably during their youthful years. Some achieved great feats in the past. So many others have many accomplishments in the past and others even have a dirty past. Whatever it is, whether good or bad, your past remained exactly where it is, in the past. Do not dwell on the past. What you achieved, or did not achieve in the past don’t matter anymore. What mattered is what you are doing right now. Listen, you might have failed in the past. You might have done many bad things in the past. You might have lost several opportunities in the past. You might have won many laurels or awards in the past. You might have failed in bus

Don’t rush to judge By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat Home is a place you are welcome, a place you are comfortable, a place that evoke memories of history and ownership. It is a place you are free to be good or bad and still maintain your human dignity. Home is a place you are allowed to be fallible and be human. In a place you can call home, that’s a place you should be able to enjoy the comfort of self expression and vast exploration without restriction. It is a place that offers you all the opportunity it can afford, so that you can realize your dreams and life aspirations without jeopardizing your decency, culture and sanity. Any place or location that offers you the above is worthy to be called home, no matter where it is, because indeed, it is home. However, this kind of perfect home description is almost non existent in our world today. No place in the world today come close actually, but it is not achievable, should we decide to pursue it. We all deserve to be at home. Many p
