Arewa Youth Groups dump Buhari and Atiku, endorse Olawepo Hashim

The Arewa Youth Group, a group from across the 19 northern states in Nigeria have dumped President Muhammadu Buhari and former vice President Atiku Abubakar to endorse the Presidential candidate of People’s Trust ( PT), Mr.Gbenga Olawepo Hashim as their choice for Nigeria's presidency in 2019. The group made this known through its National Coordinator, Malam Samaila Garba. Malam Samaila Garba Garri ,National Coordinator of the group,Matasan AREWA na Dimokradiya( All AREWA Young Democrats ),said they were specifically, angered by the choice of Presidential candidates of the two major political parties who they alleged,had nothing new to offer in Nigeria. Garba Garri,speaking in an interview in Kaduna,said they were thrilled by remarks made by Mr.Gbenga Olawepo Hashim on the plight and future of Nigeria and Nigerians ,insisting that now was the time to rally round Mr.Olawepo Hashim because he has the idea to make Nigeria a much better country. People's Trust Presidential candidate Olawepo-Hashim name running mate

Frontline Presidential Candidate, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has chosen  statesman, Chief Arthur Nwankwo as his running mate, in a move aimed at locking in  South-Eastern votes in next year's presidential election.    Olawepo-Hashim, who is  running on the platform of the People's Trust (PT), announced at the weekend that Nwankwo would bring his grasp of political economy   to bear in the shaping of public policy in the Hashim presidency, following rising projections on his chances of winning the polls.      A statement signed by  spokesman of the Olawepo-Hashim  campaign, Hassan Ibrahim stressed that Nwankwo of the Fourth Dimensions Publisher's fame, was selected among a host of other contenders for his legendary commitment to the struggle for South-East integration, aside his popular fight for the freedom of Nigerian people.     The statement noted that the pedigree of Nwankwo are consequential enough to complement Olawepo-Hashim's zeal towards "nation

Kwara Must Change call for immediate arrest of Nigeria's Senate President

A popular Pro-Democracy group in Kwara State Nigeria, ‘’Kwara Must Change’’ has called for the immediate arrest of Nigeria's Senate President, Bukola Saraki in other to unravel the source of the N12 billion Saraki claimed to have used to sponsor the 2015 general election. The group, through a released signed by its State Coordinator, Yusuf Olohuntoyin during the weekend noted that, several billions of naira belonging to the people of Kwara State have been diverted into personal pocket over the years and it is time to account for them. In an audio record widely circulated on social media during the week, Saraki was heard telling his supporters that he spent between N200million to 400million in 30 states of the federation to sponsor election of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015.
