Igbo Community In Lagos Endorse Jimi Agbaje

Ahead of the February election, the Igbo Community in Lagos has reiterated its commitment to vote en masse for President Goodluck Jonathan, the PDP governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje and other party candidates to ensure the continuity of development and government of inclusiveness. Addressing the crowd at the Trade fair Complex, Archbishop Samson Benjamin, said that the tears of the Igbos in the state can only be wiped by PDP that are ready to accommodate all in their policy unlike APC who wanted the Igbos that contributed to the economical growth of the state to vacate in the name of building a mega city. Also, the National president of Igbo Youth Congress, IYC, Jerry Onyemaechi Ugwu, said that the Igbo people in Lagos have concluded to vote against the ruling APC in the state, stating that all area resided by Igbo people in the state were denied of development directly. The PDP governorship candidate Jimi Agbaje promised the government of equality and justice for all. Accounts from the president himself and others who dare to provide information suggest that contrary to his stated age—being born on November 20, 1957; the president was born several, perhaps 10 years earlier and is over 60 years old. The residents of Aiyelabegan Compound in Agbaji District of Okemale Area in Ilorin has called on the Emir of Ilorin Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari and the various security agencies in Kwara state to call the supporters of Senate President Bukola Saraki to maintain the peace for which its neighbourhood has always been known for. The appeal was made by the Mogaji of Aiyelebagan compound Alhaji Oba Aiyelabegan while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin following a violent attack on the compound by alleged political supporters of the Senate President Bukola Saraki who live in the area on Thursday 10th of January. The National Chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to stop using and dumping members of the party. He said the idea of someone working for the party and others reaping the fruits must stop. Mu’azu spoke in Abuja on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party, which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan. The campaign is being headed by a former Chairman of the party, Senator Amodu Ali.
