15 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IGBO AND BIAFRA

After observing some Igbo people carefully, I took adequate note of the way they reason, listen to their point of views, understood their fears and worries and seek to understand their unending quest for dominance, under the guise of self determination or lack of justice in Nigeria. I came to the following conclusion:
1. There are two kind of Igbo. We have the Igbo and sectional Igbo. The Igbo person will always think global even if he his the most local, while the sectional Igbo will always reason sectional even if he his in the global community. To an igbo person, there is no superiority or inferiority, all that exists is equality. But to the sectional Igbo, Igbo is superior, others are inferior. 2. An Igbo person is the best of any human you can find, but the sectional Igbo is the worst of all human. It doesn’t matter how much they are educated, what mattered to a sectional person is his sectionalism. But this is not just about Igbo, it’s a symptom in every tribalistic person. Every sectional person, be it an Hausa or Yoruba are worse of all humans. At a time when the global community is integrating and finding means of getting more united, it is a sad thing that in Africa, especially in Nigeria which should serve as model for other African countries, we still have people who think the only means of integration and self determination is causing division. No wonder Africa remain backward. 3. Igbo is cool, calm, reasonable and often reserve, when you meet one, he or she is a treasure to behold. But the sectional igbo is arrogant and sometimes unreasonable, they are the lousy type who makes unnecessary noise to get undeserved attention. 4. Igbo hates tribalism, but sectional igbo is proud of his tribalism. He his not only discriminatory against other tribes in Nigeria, he his equally discriminatory to his fellow igbo whom he considers as lesser igbo. E.g, A sectional igbo from Anambra would discriminate against Igbo from Imo. 5. The most unjust Nigerian is a sectional Igbo, who hide under self determination to cause the death of over 2million Igbo’s without tendering any apology or showing sign of remorse, yet still nursing the ambition of leading more igbo to cause disobedience of the state. While he and his families are safe, he calls the gullible poor to the war front in his quest for fame, popularity and to grab power at all cost using the blood of his poor tribal men and women.. 6. Kill a whole elephant for a sectional igbo to eat, he or she may still accuse you of marginalizing igbo for failing to give them the snail. 7. Ask sectional Igbo about justice, he or she will tell you it is when he has undue edge over others. If there is no undue edge over others, it is not justice. 8. Criticize the wrong action of an igbo, you would be tagged a hater of the tribe, but if other tribes commit similar wrong doing, sectional igbo will be the first to criticize it. 9. If Igbo cheat to win, it is fine by sectional igbo, if he his cheated, heaven must fall 10. Igbo superiority only exist in the tongue of the sectional igbo, while their practice is inferiority per excellence. 11. Sectional Igbo talk like Kings, think like slaves 12. The only tribe that hates Igbo is the sectional Igbo. They are ready to sacrifices uncountable lives of fellow igbo’s to pursue unrealistic agenda, then blame others for the consequence. 13. The most irrational Nigerian is a sectional Nigerian, he or she could be Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba or other tribes. 14. Biafra is not a quest for self determination, it is a quest by greater injustice to dominate little injustice. Biafra is not a quest to end igbo marginalization, it is a quest to intensify the marginalization of the poor by the cruel rich. 15. Never judge an Igbo person with the foolish action of the sectional Igbo. They are two set of people. The Igbo is a good tribe, with some bad element. Just as we have in other tribes like Yoruba, Hausa etc. I LOVE IGBO, I LOVE NIGERIA Mr.Rights.

  1. 1. Our father's know that the world is bad and unfair, so an average Igboman is trained to face the worst, to struggle, to compete, to survive on his own even if the world lets him/her down, if that is what you call domineering then you need to up your game.
    2. An Igbo person desires to be the best in what ever thing he/she is doing, that is why before 1960 they where in control of Nigeria's civil service but when the whites left, tribalism came in that is why you still have senior police officers who can't speak ordinary english, how did they become senior officers?
    3. Azikiwe won his elections in Lagos, was supposed to become the first western premier until Awolowo came with his tribal sentiments and party forcing many yoruba men who were elected under NCNC to defect so the yorubas started sectionalism.
    3. Bello's party was called Northen People's congress and not Nigerian people, he started the indigenization of civil service in the north, throwing Ndi Igbo out of their jobs, so tribalism started in the north.
    4. Ojukwu didn't want Biafra, He wanted a one Nigeria with equal rights and justice in all parts of Nigeria, he wanted a true one Nigeria where people's life and property would be protected, He wanted a one Nigeria with true federalism where the regions will have responsible autonomy from the center while the center will be in charge of foreign affairs.
    5. Ojukwu wanted all these in other to protect the Igbo, Ijaw, Ibibio. Anang, Efik, Ogoni and all other peoples of the east who were called yamiri and were been massacred across Nigeria then because of the failed coupe that was headed by a Northener of Igbo origin from kaduna state called major Nzeogwu and his cohorts.
    6. Gowon accepted his request and signed it in Aburi Ghana, the easterners celebrated and there where jubilations every where. Biafra came as a result of Gowon's refusal to implement an accord he signed, get your facts right, if he had not reneged on that agreement, Biafra would not have been declared and their would not have been any war and all Nigerians would have been happier today, the North would have been free to practice their sharia without western styled education and their won't be reason for Bokoharamn each region will have their own law and others will respect it when they are their.
    7. all these hatred and suspicion would not have been necessary. today, when any other Nigerian is lying dead and you go to his ear and whisper '' the Igboman just
walked in'', if he doesn't wake up then he is dead indeed and for your information, the Igboman makes more money living with his enemy, the more you hate him, the more money he makes, he will still lend you his penny as long as you are prepared to pay the interest on the penny, he will still extend the payback date as long as you are ready to pay extra interest.
    8. so don't waste your time hating an Igboman because as long as you don't go mad and start destroying his properties he doesn't care, even if you destroy it today when peace returns he will return and make more profits.
9 lastly an Igboman will always be an Igboman, don't waste your time classifying us, those you call Igboman and say you love, are true Igboman who because of the conditions on ground are struggling to hide the Igbo in them, in other to get justice, in other to be employed, in other to be accepted, in other to get power, in other to be liked, when they get what they want, the Igbo in us will surface, the Igbo that you call sectional when they are not, the Igbo that you call domineering even though the entire north speaks Hausa and nobody is calling names, the Igbo that you are scared to compete with, the Igbo that is your envy for real. We are too busy struggling to succeed and get the best that life has to offer, we don't have time to hate but we may complain a little.
