My mother is my god
My sister is my lord
My wife is my love
And my daughter is my trust.

How dare me look down on my god?
How dare me disrespect my lord?
How dare me abuse my love?
And how dare me violate my trust?

Women are to me in four ways
One- She is my creator-Mother who gave birth to me
Two- She is my teacher- Sister who taught and guided me
Three- She is my helper- wive, who complimented me
Four- She is my blessing- Daughter whom i look unto as a source of joy

How dare me look down on my creator (Mother)
How dare me disrespect my teacher (sister)
How dare me abuse my helper (wive)
How dare me violate my source of joy (daughter)

Women are sacred, they must be honored
women are special, they must be respected
Women are precious, they must be loved
Women give live, they must be protected.

You may be angered by women, yes, you must be patient with women. You might be tempted to molest women, you must be crazy to act. No matter what she does to you, you have no right to touch her (she is your creator)

Make a woman happy and you will be happier
Make her sad and you will be sadder.

FPP’s vote not fight campaign ahead of 2019 election get a morale boost

Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) anti-violence campaign ahead of the 2019 general election, tagged ‘’vote not fight’’ has gained some moral boost, as the Commandant of Special Task Force (Operation Safe Heaven) in Plateau State, Maj General Augustine Agundu declared support for the campaign. The STF commandant, who hailed FPP for its efforts and consistency, particularly on the early warning alerts being regularly sent to the agency, urges the organization to continue to sensitize youths in the ‘’vote not fight’’ campaign and ensure youths stay away from political violence and criminality. Danger averted,Female Student Caught With 2 Grenades (Bombs) In Taraba State

A senior secondary school form one (SS1) student of Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Jalingo, was on Monday apprehended for being in possession of two grenades. The student, simply identified as Blessing, was apprehended by the school's security guards who were conducting checks on the students luggage following their resumption for the second term. In an attempt to smuggle the bombs into the school, Blessing, who joined the school last September, concealed the bombs inside gari and it took the vigilance of the security men to detect them. Upon the discovery, she was quickly arrested alongside her father who is said to be a retired Police Inspector from Numan in Adamawa state while the bomb disposal unit at the police headquarters was quickly called in to defuse the bombs. Trending video of extrajudicial killings by soldiers unfortunate, says FPP

Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) has intercepted a trending and disturbing video online, in which soldiers of the Nigerian army are seen in the video, marching two (2) harmless civilians into a location for execution, over the simple offense of coming out during curfew as heard from one of the soldiers. As the heart breaking video proceeded, the two harmless citizens were seen being gunned down by 3 soldiers who were also celebrating the heinous crime against humanity. In the trending video, the soldiers didn’t just gun down the harmless citizens after leveling all sorts of unsubstantiated allegations against them; they also gunned down their donkeys, firing more than 30 shots in the process. A post recently made on facebook by Abdulrazaq O Hamzat, a former President of Congress of NOUN Students (CONS) has generated a new debate about the position of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) among institutions in the country. Hamzat, who is still in court against management of the institution over his unlawful expulsion in 2015 for exposing corruption and forming a student association declared that, despite all the challenges confronting the University, the Open University is still the best in Nigeria.
