DO YOUNG NIGERIANS REALLY HAVE RELIGION?

I have a female friend who happens to be a Muslim, but in the next few minutes, she could suddenly become a Christian. According to her, if she eventually marry a Christian, she won’t mind becoming a Christian. In her view, its easy to be Christian, all you need is attend church once a week and dance yourself out, unlike being a Muslim that you need to be praying 5 times daily. Also, I have a Christian lady who said she likes me, but upon telling her jokingly that I would have dated her if she is a Muslim,she suddenly want to become a Muslim.
A Muslim friend (Abdulsomething) at one time suddenly changed his name to (brother something) because he wanted to date a Christian lady. He went to Redeem church with her several times claiming to be converted. Similarly, Another Christian guy who wanted to marry a lady in IIorin had to convert to Islam to achieve his aim.

The question is, Do Nigerians really have religion? If yes, what is the motivation behind our religion? Are we in our present religion because we were born in it or because we truly understand it? Do we really understand our religious teaching or just bearing the name?

The National Chairman of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Dr. Jay Osi-Samuels has narrated how the party was rescued from highjackers and godfathers, saying it was not an easy task dealing with political and so called spiritual godfathers. In a speech he delivered at the party’s national convention in Abuja on Wednesday, he said the party which is ideologically different from others suddenly found itself in the hands of godfathers, some of whom had hidden under the banner of church spiritual fathers. Brave lady quites her job because her boss persistently calls her sweetie

A lady, who goes by the name Sarah Mcgovern on social network site Facebook, has quite her job over what she described as harassment and persistently being refereed to as sweetie by her boss. Women and youth groups in Kebbi state have refused to attend presidential campaign of People's Democratic Party (PDP). They declared support and rally for the presidential candidate of People’s Trust Mr Gbenga Olawepo Hashim.
