DO YOUNG NIGERIANS REALLY HAVE RELIGION?

I have a female friend who happens to be a Muslim, but in the next few minutes, she could suddenly become a Christian. According to her, if she eventually marry a Christian, she won’t mind becoming a Christian. In her view, its easy to be Christian, all you need is attend church once a week and dance yourself out, unlike being a Muslim that you need to be praying 5 times daily. Also, I have a Christian lady who said she likes me, but upon telling her jokingly that I would have dated her if she is a Muslim,she suddenly want to become a Muslim.
A Muslim friend (Abdulsomething) at one time suddenly changed his name to (brother something) because he wanted to date a Christian lady. He went to Redeem church with her several times claiming to be converted. Similarly, Another Christian guy who wanted to marry a lady in IIorin had to convert to Islam to achieve his aim.

The question is, Do Nigerians really have religion? If yes, what is the motivation behind our religion? Are we in our present religion because we were born in it or because we truly understand it? Do we really understand our religious teaching or just bearing the name?

New Ogun Customs Controller promises to consolidate on efforts of predecessors

The new Controller of the Ogun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, Michael Ojobo Agbara, has promised to consolidate on the efforts put in place by his predecessors at the office. Few weeks ago, my attention was drawn to an agitprop and hogwash material circulated online by agents of the Senate President titled: Brief History of Kwara Must Change anchor (Tinubu’s Agent in Kwara). My initial reaction was to ignore it because i do not think it is worthy of my response. However, i am now forced to issue this response because of genuine concerns by friends and associates concerning the content of the material. The material, which also made it to the front page of nairaland, Africa’s largest forum was circulated by emissary of the ruling government in Kwara State in a desperate attempt to link the Pro-Democracy struggle of Kwara Must Change to end oppression and enthrone people’s governance to some imaginary sponsors that do not exist anywhere.
