I HATE 2ND TERMS, former Oyo speaker

I HATE 2ND TERMS. It is a bean-picking, come-easy-go-easy, insipid, uninspiring term with no motivation at all for the incumbent.
He already knows he won't need to come to the people for any vote again, at least for that office. So, he does as he likes. It has been difficult to pick out any governor whose 2nd term was better than the 1st. OBJ spent his own 2nd term, naively supported by Lam Adesina and the AD governors (they became the asses that OBJ rode to power), doing just two things. These two things had nothing to do with the masses of Nigeria. These two things were: (a)Fighting his Vice, Atiku Abubakar and (b) pursuing a 3rd Term agendum.
So, I think the people should make it harder for office holders to get second terms.
Politicians always manage to shoot themselves - or ourselves - in the foot each time we undergo Constitutional amendments. Well, next time they should try and shoot 4 or 5 feet higher. It'll be messy and bloody but I guess it's good for all of Nigeria who have endured their ineptitude, ethnic chauvinism, tribal jingoism, sectional irridentism and religious intolerance for too long. (Even pre-1960)!
Of course, it'll be like shouting an advice at a deaf man if one urges our incumbents not to seek 2nd Terms. Hehehe...turkeys don't vote for christmas!
But then, may God bless us with a just and egalitarian Federal Republic of Nigeria!

Brave lady quites her job because her boss persistently calls her sweetie

A lady, who goes by the name Sarah Mcgovern on social network site Facebook, has quite her job over what she described as harassment and persistently being refereed to as sweetie by her boss. 2019 Election: FPP condemn reckless remarks by political parties and foreign interests

........ call on Nigerians to trust INEC An independent Non Governmental Organisation, Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) has called on the Nigerian people to have faith in their country & give chance to Government Institutions like Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), being the Nigerian electoral body to finish up what its started. Victim Kwara Must Change has compiled at least, 14 names of victims murdered in the deadly armed robbery attack that took place in Offa Community, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State. The names gathered so far include 10 police officers and 4 civilians. However, we shall continue to update the list as we gather more details. If you have been following the American hip hop scene lately, you must have heard about the beef between Drake and Pusha T, the President of kanye West Good Music. On Friday, Pusha T dropped Daytona, a 21-minute album currently making wave in America. Closing out the album’s seven-track run was “Infrared,” a lyrical track addressing the dubious artistry of Drake, a longtime thorn in Push’s side. On the infrared track, Pusha T slammed Drake once again for using ghost writer and many others. In the usual Drake manner, the God’s Plan hit maker fired back with a track titled “Duppy Freestyle”—released less than 24 hours after Pusha T’s album dropped, where he dispensed the grievances about his history with ghostwriting. Drake went further to drag Kanye West into the rap battle, saying he had once assisted Kanye on a track, a collaboration well aknowleded by Mr. West. In the Drake’s response, he also dragged the name of Pusha T’s wife into the battle and all hell let loose.
