Dbanj goes international, Presents Alongside World Bank President

 

 Mr.rights have just learnt that, Dbanj goes internationally corporate, seems to be forgetting about music and working on his ambassadorial skills. Dbanj is one of the presenters at TEDxWBG in Washington, DC and will be presenting alongside other presenters include Jim Yong Kim – President, World Bank Group and Eleni Gabre-Madhin – Co-founder and CEO, Eleni LLC.

According to the official event description, the theme of TEDxWBG is “Ending Poverty“.
The challenge of ending poverty is huge, but with courage, ingenuity, vision and purpose, the goal is within reach. In a tightly choreographed 3.5 hours, TEDxWBG will bring together thinkers and leaders from the worlds of business, art, and technology to share experiences and ideas worth spreading across the world.
This first TEDxWBG will explore the theme of “Ending Poverty” from multiple viewpoints in three distinct but related sessions.

Eligibility For 2015: S-court Dismisses Suit Against Jonathan ABUJA-The Supreme Court, Tuesday, dismissed the suit seeking to stop President Goodluck Jonathan from vying for a re-election next year. A five-man panel of Justices of the apex court presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, struck out the appeal which was filed before it by a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from Adamawa State, Dr. Umar Ardo. Delivering the ruling, the CJN, accused Ardo of inviting the Supreme Court to arrest a proceeding pending before the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal. The National Chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to stop using and dumping members of the party. He said the idea of someone working for the party and others reaping the fruits must stop. Mu’azu spoke in Abuja on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party, which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan. The campaign is being headed by a former Chairman of the party, Senator Amodu Ali. Mu’azu said it was injustices like this that were making members of the party to defect to the opposition political parties. AGENDA FOR PEACE WITH Mr.Rights: By: Abdulrazaq O Hamzat It is no longer news that the 2015 presidential election has been postponed from February 14 to March 28, 2015. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have no other choice than listen to the advise of the nations security agencies which call for the election postponement, citing security reasons. While it may be true that the security agencies seems to be influenced by some political considerations, we must remain calm and give peace a chance since the action is still within the law. Although, there are reasons to be worried. Nigerians must be worried that, this government has had 6 years to fix the security of the nation, but it has failed to do so.
