A Lesson from "APC Wedding" Chaired by the PDP

PDP Governor Akpabio made an interesting proposal at the wedding reception of the daughter of APC Governor Rochas Okorocha on inter state marriage by young Nigerians. He proposed that the beautiful ladies of Imo state should not focus on marrying fellow handsome gentlemen in Imo state only but seek to marry extra handsome gentlemen from Akwa Ibom state. He also mentioned that he has practiced what he is proposing by marrying outside Akwa Ibom state. He has sent a strong message that all of us should think about in the effort for national unification.

Governor Rochas also need to be commended for inviting Governor Akpabio to Chair the wedding program. As APC Governors Forum Chair, he kept political differences aside and reached out to the PDP Governors Forum Chair. If all politicians can keep aside political differences and work together for national unity and integration, Nigeria will emerge one of the greatest nation on earth in a short time

A leader of the Middle Belt Forum, Air Commodore Dan Suleiman (Rtd) has said that the Forum will stick to its earlier endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Trust (PT) for the 2019 election, Mr. GBENGA Olawepo-Hashim. The wind of Otoge movement (Enough is Enough) in Kwara State is currently blowing all across Nigeria to an extent that other opposition states in the country are adopting the slogan to advance their quest for freedom and political emancipation. After the 2015 election, Leading Pro-Democracy group in Kwara popularly known as Kwara Must Change (KMC) has been leading the charge to liberate Kwara State from oppression and the grip of Bukola Saraki led dynasty. Stop publishing fake news, Bloggers Guild tell media, as it urges politicians to play by the rules

The Guild of Professional Bloggers of Nigeria has urged all stakeholders in the coming elections to play by the rules and ensure free and fair elections nationwide. In a statement signed by the president of the association, Mr Chris Kehinde Nwandu, the association urged politicians not to see the coming elections as a do or die affair. “This is an opportunity for electorates to exercise their civic responsibility to select leaders without fear of violence. Violence is inimical to conducting a credible election. NANS admit Open University Student body as member

The Senate Arm of the Nigeria Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has approved the Membership Status of National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) vide Congress of NOUN Students on a full blown structure of NANS the CONS Public relation officer, Comrade A.L Oyetoro has said. Comrade Oyetoro declared that, this was stated in the communique released and signed by the NANS Senate President Comr. Taiwo Bamigbade, Mohammed Saba (Chairman Comminque Drafting Committee) and Comr. A. Kola (Secretary Comminque Drafting Committee) after the 74th Senate Meeting / Pre-Convention held in Minna, Niger State. The Senate called on the National Executive of NANS to moderate the NOUN Zonal and National Congress and called for a member representative in the National Senate arm of NANS.

Temmi Ovwasa, the one and only YBNL princess recently released a thought provoking culturally induced tract that is titled Bamidele. The latest single followed the pattern of her 2 previous tracks, Afefe and Jabole. Apart from Jabole, which was her debut single under YBNL and not so unique, Afefe and Bamidele are 2 great songs that were not promoted enough to catch the audience’s attention. If you ask me, YBNL should not allow Afefe go like that with such a little attention to a great song, Temmie should do a remix and promote that song seriously. When I first heard Afefe, I told myself that this would be a hit song if properly promoted. I was expecting to watch the song on all the music promoting TV channels, but it never made it. Everything mostly ended online. Even on her Youtube channel, Afefe had less than 30k views. I can’t understand why a song like Afefe was not given the required promotion.
