The challenge of ending poverty is huge, but with courage, ingenuity, vision and purpose, the goal is within reach. In a tightly choreographed 3.5 hours, TEDxWBG brought together thinkers and leaders from the worlds of business, art, and technology to share experiences and ideas worth spreading across the world.
This first TEDxWBG explored the theme of “Ending Poverty” from multiple viewpoints in three distinct but related sessions.

    FPP’s vote not fight campaign ahead of 2019 election get a morale boost

    Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) anti-violence campaign ahead of the 2019 general election, tagged ‘’vote not fight’’ has gained some moral boost, as the Commandant of Special Task Force (Operation Safe Heaven) in Plateau State, Maj General Augustine Agundu declared support for the campaign. The STF commandant, who hailed FPP for its efforts and consistency, particularly on the early warning alerts being regularly sent to the agency, urges the organization to continue to sensitize youths in the ‘’vote not fight’’ campaign and ensure youths stay away from political violence and criminality. This meeting was brokered by Pastor Jim Bent who was introduced to me by Naseer Daura the erstwhile Interim National Secretary of ANN. I later found out that Jim and Daura have been friends from their days in the Nigerian Military School. My meeting with FD took place in my hotel room at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel.
