EXCLUSIVE: Nigerian Army releases academic records to Buhari

The Nigerian Army on Tuesday publicly released the academic details of former military leader, Muhammadu Buhari, but denied at the same time it could not vouch for the authenticity of his Senior Secondary Examinations results. Speaking to the media, Army Spokesperson, Olajide Laleye, reversed the Army’s earlier position that it had copies of Mr. Buhari’s West African Secondary School Certificate. Mr. Laleye said while military records showed Mr. Buhari obtained the WASC in 1961, with credits in English Language, Geography, History, Health Science, and Hausa, there were neither the original copy nor certified true copy nor statement of result to confirm the grades. He also said the Army could not confirm whether Mr. Buhari’s claim of obtaining those results was verified by the Army in the 1960s. But ​military sources say ​while the Army spokesperson was addressing the media, the ​Department of Military Secretary the same day was despatching to Mr. Buhari his academic records, which had been requested by the retired general. PREMIUM TIMES has obtained copies of the records showing the military duly noted that Mr. Buhari obtained the requisite WASC qualifications.     Am a frontline member of the ruling PDP , am sadden and embarrass by the utterance of our new generation campaign handlers and some well inform elite of our great country nigeria , with a particular reference to Buhari certificate and the military spokesman seeming partisan toward a senior member of the military community , general Muhammadu Buhari ,a former military head of state and three time presidential candidates of veriou parties in the recent time, party affiliation to me is not a license to paint a former sympol of nigeria in bad light because of 2015 political contest, the two frontline candidates APC and PDP are entitle to dignity , they must be treated as such

    The truth is, i so much appreciate your position. We must understand that irrespective of party, we all have a duty to be reasonable and conduct ourselves in the best manner.

Victim Kwara Must Change has compiled at least, 14 names of victims murdered in the deadly armed robbery attack that took place in Offa Community, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State. If you have been following the American hip hop scene lately, you must have heard about the beef between Drake and Pusha T, the President of kanye West Good Music. On Friday, Pusha T dropped Daytona, a 21-minute album currently making wave in America. Closing out the album’s seven-track run was “Infrared,” a lyrical track addressing the dubious artistry of Drake, a longtime thorn in Push’s side. On the infrared track, Pusha T slammed Drake once again for using ghost writer and many others. In the usual Drake manner, the God’s Plan hit maker fired back with a track titled “Duppy Freestyle”—released less than 24 hours after Pusha T’s album dropped, where he dispensed the grievances about his history with ghostwriting. Drake went further to drag Kanye West into the rap battle, saying he had once assisted Kanye on a track, a collaboration well aknowleded by Mr. West.
