The Kano State government embarked on a massive 2km fly over infrastructure in Kano State few year ago. The project is yet to be completed.



Check out the progress of the fly over located at Murtala Muhammed way in Kano Stat, Nigeria.

Bayelsa Governor ban Goodluck re-election groups in Bayelsa

Apparently miffed by the activities of various groups promoting the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan and other candidates, Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson has banned the activities of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN and other groups in the state. A statement signed by Daniel Iwariso-Markson, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, claimed that the groups were only brewing crisis in Bayelsa. “Those claiming to be campaigning for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan but are instead engaged in promoting subversive activities and inciting crisis and division within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will have to move their activities elsewhere,” it said. Dickson, at a meeting with PDP flag bearers at the party secretariat in Yenagoa, said the party is the only recognized political structure saddled with the responsibility of leading Jonathan’s campaign in the state. It was revealed that, going by the media reports in 1994, the Rwandan genocide was often portrayed as a conflict based on ancient hatred between people who had been killing each other in such a manner for hundreds of years. The Quran 24:31 obliges men to observe modesty: “Say to the believing men that they restrain their eyes and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Police detain Edo Speaker over lawmakers attack   Mr.rights have learnt that, the Edo State Police Command on Thursday arrested the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Uyi Igbe, and the Majority Leader, Philip Shaibu, over the attack on a lawmaker, Abdulrazak Momoh. Momoh,   whose seat was declared vacant by the assembly in July, was said to have been attacked by thugs on Tuesday after he allegedly ignored the instruction of security men not to enter the legislative quarters. The Peoples Democratic Party lawmaker   was rushed to the Accident and Emergency Ward of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
