The Kano State government embarked on a massive 2km fly over infrastructure in Kano State few year ago. The project is yet to be completed.

Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) anti-violence campaign ahead of the 2019 general election, tagged ‘’vote not fight’’ has gained some moral boost, as the Commandant of Special Task Force (Operation Safe Heaven) in Plateau State, Maj General Augustine Agundu declared support for the campaign. The STF commandant, who hailed FPP for its efforts and consistency, particularly on the early warning alerts being regularly sent to the agency, urges the organization to continue to sensitize youths in the ‘’vote not fight’’ campaign and ensure youths stay away from political violence and criminality. Breaking: Recall Dino Melaye, Court of Appeal Orders INEC

The Court of Appeal, sitting in Abuja has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to immediately commence the process of recalling Senator Dino Melaye, the senator representing Kogi West. The Court struck out Dino Melaye’s appeal for lacking in merit in a joint decision delivered by Justice T.O. Awotoye. The court also dismissed the appellant’s claim that he was denied fair hearing by the electoral umpire before commencing the recall process, noting that INEC is neither a tribunal nor a court of law.
