Presidential Debate For APC Presidential Aspirants

Young members of our great party have put together a Presidential Debate for APC Presidential aspirants.

The debate would be an opportunity to showcase intellectual capacity of our various aspirants and help our delegates to make an informed decision ahead of the forthcoming APC Presidential primary election coming up on 10th December, 2014.

The debate would be held on Sunday, Nov 30, 2014 at Yar'adua Center, Abuja by 7pm.

It's a New Party for a New Nigeria says APC.

South East has the least number of States in Nigeria, the least number of Senators, the least number of House of Reps members, least number of State House of Assembly members, least number of Ministers at the federal level, least revenue allocation, least federal presence or Investment, least local governments, least wards and the least of everything in Nigeria. Can we conclude that Igbo worry about nothing except their stomach? Can we assume that an Igbo is not good to be president of Nigeria? Can we conclude that top Igbo Politicians lack strategy, tact and vision to think deep in matters of politics? Can we conclude that we are satisfied with the status-quo ante? Obasanjo, Buhari Planning Interim Govt —FG

The Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan, on Monday, said a plot by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to form an interim government has been uncovered. The minister said this in Lagos at the launch of a book titled, ‘Watch the Watcher,’ written by an activist, Yinka Odumakin, in reaction to Obasanjo’s controversial book, ‘My Watch’. Adesiyan said he had already directed the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba; and the Department of State Service to arrest anybody that made inflammatory statements ahead of the 2015 elections. He said, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have started to heat up the polity. They have said they will form a parallel government if they lose. “I have already told the IG and the DSS to arrest anybody making such mutinous and inflammatory statements.” ...

Bayelsa Governor ban Goodluck re-election groups in Bayelsa

Apparently miffed by the activities of various groups promoting the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan and other candidates, Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson has banned the activities of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN and other groups in the state. A statement signed by Daniel Iwariso-Markson, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, claimed that the groups were only brewing crisis in Bayelsa. “Those claiming to be campaigning for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan but are instead engaged in promoting subversive activities and inciting crisis and division within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will have to move their activities elsewhere,” it said.
