Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) anti-violence campaign ahead of the 2019 general election, tagged ‘’vote not fight’’ has gained some moral boost, as the Commandant of Special Task Force (Operation Safe Heaven) in Plateau State, Maj General Augustine Agundu declared support for the campaign. The STF commandant, who hailed FPP for its efforts and consistency, particularly on the early warning alerts being regularly sent to the agency, urges the organization to continue to sensitize youths in the ‘’vote not fight’’ campaign and ensure youths stay away from political violence and criminality. The National Chairman of Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), Dr. Jay Osi-Samuels has narrated how the party was rescued from highjackers and godfathers, saying it was not an easy task dealing with political and so called spiritual godfathers. " If i open my mouth and speak, Nigeria will boil'' he says. In a speech he delivered at the party’s national convention in Abuja on Wednesday, he said the party which is ideologically different from others suddenly found itself in the hands of godfathers, some of whom had hidden under the banner of church spiritual fathers. A lady, who goes by the name Sarah Mcgovern on social network site Facebook, has quite her job over what she described as harassment and persistently being refereed to as sweetie by her boss. Sarah took to Facebook on December 7th 2017 to narrate her experience. She wrote: I don't post many deeply personal things online, but I want to share this. On Friday, Pusha T dropped Daytona, a 21-minute album currently making wave in America. Closing out the album’s seven-track run was “Infrared,” a lyrical track addressing the dubious artistry of Drake, a longtime thorn in Push’s side. Women and youth groups in Kebbi state have refused to attend presidential campaign of People's Democratic Party (PDP). They declared support and rally for the presidential candidate of People’s Trust Mr Gbenga Olawepo Hashim. State coordinator of the People’s Trust in Kebbi state, Alhaji Garba Yauri said on Saturday in an interview on the occasion, that the groups have vowed not to support other presidential candidates in 2019 but People’s Trust Olawepo Hashim because he knew their problems and would represent them in government.
