JUDICIARY Gets Full Financial Independence (autonomy), suspend strike



The federal Government has signed an MOU to implement the court Judgement granting the Judiciary autonomy FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE meaning the Judicial arm of Government will now get their monetary allocation directly from source and no longer needs to lobby for funds. this has led Judiciary workers (JUSUN) to suspend their planned strike action.

Trending video of extrajudicial killings by soldiers unfortunate, says FPP

Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) has intercepted a trending and disturbing video online, in which soldiers of the Nigerian army are seen in the video, marching two (2) harmless civilians into a location for execution, over the simple offense of coming out during curfew as heard from one of the soldiers. As the heart breaking video proceeded, the two harmless citizens were seen being gunned down by 3 soldiers who were also celebrating the heinous crime against humanity. In the trending video, the soldiers didn’t just gun down the harmless citizens after leveling all sorts of unsubstantiated allegations against them; they also gunned down their donkeys, firing more than 30 shots in the process. A leader of the Middle Belt Forum, Air Commodore Dan Suleiman (Rtd) has said that the Forum will stick to its earlier endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Trust (PT) for the 2019 election, Mr. GBENGA Olawepo-Hashim. The Nigerian Army on Tuesday publicly released the academic details of former military leader, Muhammadu Buhari, but denied at the same time it could not vouch for the authenticity of his Senior Secondary Examinations results. Speaking to the media, Army Spokesperson, Olajide Laleye, reversed the Army’s earlier position that it had copies of Mr. Buhari’s West African Secondary School Certificate. Mr. Laleye said while military records showed Mr. Buhari obtained the WASC in 1961, with credits in English Language, Geography, History, Health Science, and Hausa, there were neither the original copy nor certified true copy nor statement of result to confirm the grades. He also said the Army could not confirm whether Mr. Buhari’s claim of obtaining those results was verified by the Army in the 1960s.
