Youths own Kwara, APC governorship candidate, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq declares

Kwara APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has declared that the youths are the owner of Kwara.

The leader of the O TO GE movement while responding to questions about youth inclusion in Abuja explained that, youths are the owner of Kwara and it is impossible not to give them a pride of place in their state.

According to him, Kwara youths have the capacity to make and unmake any government and he assured that the youths will be in charge of his government.

Lagos Has over 1 Million HIV/AIDS Patients

FIVE out of every 100 people in Lagos is living with HIV and AIDS, the Lagos State AIDS Control Agency (LSACA) stated yesterday. Its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Tokunbo Dabiri, explained that the high ratio is not unconnected to the large population of the state. She spoke at the World AIDS Day programme in Lagos organised by LSACA. Describing Lagos State as cosmopolitan, Dabiri added that it its also the melting pot accounting for about 21 million inhabitants. “This is why the disease is common in the state,” she noted. She urged residents, who have not been tested to do so to confirm their status, adding: “ The statistics the state is presently working with is 5.1 per cent . It can be more if we all know our status. Nigeria Lost $7.92bn To Corruption In One Year’ A total of $7.92billion in illicit capital flowed of out Nigeria in 2012, according to the latest report released by the US-based non-profit research and advisory organisation, Global Financial Integrity (GFI).
