National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is about to conduct election to usher in new leadership for the association. About 14 aspirants from across the federation have indicated interest in running for the number student position in Nigeria.

The Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) has released a statement on Tuesday explaining the peaceful nature of their protests before operatives of the Nigerian Army interfered by opening fire into its members injuring many people in the process. A senior member of the IMN’s media forum,Shuaibu Musa, said this yesterday during a media interview and he also accused the Federal Government of deceiving the populace by peddling false narratives of the confrontation.
