GTbank has the most popular website among banks in Nigeria

The website of Guarantee Trust Bank (GTB) is the most popular website among all bank websites in Nigeria.

This revelation was contained in the 2018 Alexa rating of website in Nigeria.

Alexa, a global website rating platform reveal the 50 most popular websites in Nigeria for the year and only GTB website made it to top 50 in the country. Other banks such as Zenith, UBA and others didn't make it.

Trending video of extrajudicial killings by soldiers unfortunate, says FPP

Foundation for Peace Professionals (FPP) has intercepted a trending and disturbing video online, in which soldiers of the Nigerian army are seen in the video, marching two (2) harmless civilians into a location for execution, over the simple offense of coming out during curfew as heard from one of the soldiers. As the heart breaking video proceeded, the two harmless citizens were seen being gunned down by 3 soldiers who were also celebrating the heinous crime against humanity. In the trending video, the soldiers didn’t just gun down the harmless citizens after leveling all sorts of unsubstantiated allegations against them; they also gunned down their donkeys, firing more than 30 shots in the process. The Nigerian Army on Tuesday publicly released the academic details of former military leader, Muhammadu Buhari, but denied at the same time it could not vouch for the authenticity of his Senior Secondary Examinations results. Speaking to the media, Army Spokesperson, Olajide Laleye, reversed the Army’s earlier position that it had copies of Mr. Buhari’s West African Secondary School Certificate. Mr. Laleye said while military records showed Mr. Buhari obtained the WASC in 1961, with credits in English Language, Geography, History, Health Science, and Hausa, there were neither the original copy nor certified true copy nor statement of result to confirm the grades. A leader of the Middle Belt Forum, Air Commodore Dan Suleiman (Rtd) has said that the Forum will stick to its earlier endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the Peoples Trust (PT) for the 2019 election, Mr. GBENGA Olawepo-Hashim.
