Nigerian Music rules the world, as Wizkid emerge best international act

In what turns out to be the best moment for Africa and Nigerian music in particular, Nigeria’s star boy, Wizkid has emerged the best International act ahead of U.S heavy weight such as Jay Z, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B and others.

In a similar feat that further establishes Nigeria’s superiority in the Music world, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido also trashed Wizkid, Sarkodi and others to emerge best African act.

All these happened in just one night, in the 2017 edition of Mobo Award event held at the First Direct Arena, Leeds England.

Jay Z recently got 8 nominations in this year Grammy Award, while Kendrick Lamar got the best act in BET award for 2017 as well as 7 Grammy nominations.

Nigerian music is now the best thing happening in the music world globally and Wizkid, Davido and other Nigerian acts are leading the shine.

Frontline Presidential Candidate in Nigeria, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim has vowed to tackle cancer headlong if elected president in the 2019 presidential election. The candidate running on the platform of People’s Trust (PT) told women group in the South West, under the aegis of Women for Hashim (WfH), that it was time Nigerian halt the devastating effect of cancer. He stressed that the Cancer programme is dear to me, especially after listening to his daughter, Ifeaoluwa, who said: “‘Dad, I wonder how many Nigerian women can afford this vaccine at N33, 000.00 when the minimum wage is N18, 000? Obasanjo, Buhari Planning Interim Govt —FG

The Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan, on Monday, said a plot by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) to form an interim government has been uncovered. The minister said this in Lagos at the launch of a book titled, ‘Watch the Watcher,’ written by an activist, Yinka Odumakin, in reaction to Obasanjo’s controversial book, ‘My Watch’. Adesiyan said he had already directed the Inspector General of Police, Suleiman Abba; and the Department of State Service to arrest anybody that made inflammatory statements ahead of the 2015 elections. He said, “Many of those in the APC are disgruntled PDP members who are no longer relevant and because they could not have their way, they have started to heat up the polity.
