How Nigerians helped Wizkid defeat Jay Z, Drake and others to emerge best international act

Few months ago, when U.K based Mobo award made its list of nominees for the various categories in the 2017 edition public, Nigeria’s music star, Wizkid was nominated in the International category along side U.S music heavy weights such as Jay Z, Drake, Kendrick Lemar and others.

Immediately Nigerians heard that their own star boy is the only Nigerian on the international category list, many took it upon themselves not to only visit Mobo site to vote for the Nigerian Music star, but some also took a step further to launch online campaign to urge many others to vote for Wizzy.

Mr rights and is team also voted for Wizkid in the international category, while voting for Davido in the best African act category.

We equally did some online campaign to get many others to vote for Wizkid. As already established, Nigerians are always united in supporting their own when an opportunity present itself, this is exactly what played out in this years Mobo award, which saw star boy’s wizkid emerging as the best international act. This goes to justify that, a united Nigeria is an unbeatable entity anywhere in the world. This is another prove.
