How NHIS acting ES and 5 others embezzle millions

The Ag. Executive Secretary of NHIS, Mr Attahiru Ibrahim in the month of August 2017 approved the sum of N30, 661,400 to himself and 5 others to attend a training they didn't register to attend, an anti corruption movement, Citizens Action To Take Back Nigeria (CATBAN) has reported.
The Global Flagship Course on Health Systems Strengthening and Sustainable Financing: The Challenge of Universal Coverage was to take place in Washington DC, the United States between October 21 - 31, 2017. Mr Attahiru Ibrahim paid himself and 5 other people N30, 661, 400 for the above training which they didn't register for. CATBAN is authoritatively reporting that the program in Washington DC was rounded up yesterday 27th October, 2017 and none of this people who received money were their. CATBAN's national Convener, Ibrahim Garba Wala declared that details of the amount given to each of the alleged persons shall be published on its platforms within the week.

Eligibility For 2015: S-court Dismisses Suit Against Jonathan ABUJA-The Supreme Court, Tuesday, dismissed the suit seeking to stop President Goodluck Jonathan from vying for a re-election next year. A five-man panel of Justices of the apex court presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, struck out the appeal which was filed before it by a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from Adamawa State, Dr. Umar Ardo. Delivering the ruling, the CJN, accused Ardo of inviting the Supreme Court to arrest a proceeding pending before the Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal. The National Chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to stop using and dumping members of the party. He said the idea of someone working for the party and others reaping the fruits must stop. Mu’azu spoke in Abuja on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party, which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have no other choice than listen to the advise of the nations security agencies which call for the election postponement, citing security reasons. While it may be true that the security agencies seems to be influenced by some political considerations, we must remain calm and give peace a chance since the action is still within the law. Although, there are reasons to be worried. Nigerians must be worried that, this government has had 6 years to fix the security of the nation, but it has failed to do so.
