If you ran into this man on the road, you may be too sympathetic to feel like throwing some stipends to him. Don't make that mistake please.
This is Attahiru Ibrahim, the Ag. Executive Secretary of NHIS who the Minister of Health, Prof Isaac Adewole has boxed into a corner and compelled to release the sum of N11.9 billion from civil servant enrollees money in their custody.
NHIS money is not money coming from the Government to the agency. It is citizens contribution for Health service delivery by mostly civil servants. This is the money that is being mismanaged by this man and the minister. By IG Wala, CATBAN

FG planning arrest, detention of Lai Mohammed, others —APC

Opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), on Wednesday, alleged that the Federal Government was planning to use security agencies to rail-road its leaders into detention. It claimed that suspicious summons being planned by security agencies, particularly the Department of State Security Service (DSS), would start with its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed. Apparently miffed by the activities of various groups promoting the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan and other candidates, Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson has banned the activities of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN and other groups in the state. A statement signed by Daniel Iwariso-Markson, Chief Press Secretary to the governor, claimed that the groups were only brewing crisis in Bayelsa. “Those claiming to be campaigning for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan but are instead engaged in promoting subversive activities and inciting crisis and division within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state will have to move their activities elsewhere,” it said.
