Why is almost all former governors under criminal prosecution?

Almost all our former governors have criminal cases. I mean, If governors are not thieves, how come almost all former governors are under going criminal prosecution by either EFCC or ICPC? I am really confused

Kwara Must Change unveil list of Offa robbery victims, urges govt to immortalize them

Victim Kwara Must Change has compiled at least, 14 names of victims murdered in the deadly armed robbery attack that took place in Offa Community, Offa Local Government Area of Kwara State. The names gathered so far include 10 police officers and 4 civilians. However, we shall continue to update the list as we gather more details. It would be recalled that on 5th April 2018, a deadly armed robbery attack took place in Offa Local government Area of Kwara State, in which several innocent lives were lost. While several figures were claimed by police and several media houses, Vigilance Group of Nigeria in Offa said vigilantes in the state counted about 50 dead bodies after armed robbers attacked and robbed five banks. Danger averted,Female Student Caught With 2 Grenades (Bombs) In Taraba State

A senior secondary school form one (SS1) student of Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Jalingo, was on Monday apprehended for being in possession of two grenades. The student, simply identified as Blessing, was apprehended by the school's security guards who were conducting checks on the students luggage following their resumption for the second term. In an attempt to smuggle the bombs into the school, Blessing, who joined the school last September, concealed the bombs inside gari and it took the vigilance of the security men to detect them. Upon the discovery, she was quickly arrested alongside her father who is said to be a retired Police Inspector from Numan in Adamawa state while the bomb disposal unit at the police headquarters was quickly called in to defuse the bombs. In 1965, Nigeria was operating regionalism, in which every region was controlling its own resources when the first set of violent agitators picked up arms to express their grievances and confront the state violently. This was before the first military coup that eventually pushed the country into civil war. Court Sentences Two Men To Death For Stealing Fowls in Nigeria

OSOGBO—Justice Jide Falola of an Osun State High Court sitting in Okuku has sentenced two robbers to death for stealing fowls. The convicts, Olowookere Segun and Morakinyo Sunday, were found guilty of forcefully breaking into the house of one Mr. Balogun Tope, a police officer attached to Divisional Police headquarters, Okuku, in April 2010 and carting away some of his belongings. The convicts were charged with conspiracy, robbery and stealing contrary to Section 6(b) and 1(2)(a) of Robbery and Firearm (Special Provisions) Act, cap R 11 Laws of Federation of Nigeria 2004 and Section (390)(1) Criminal Code Law, Cap 34, Laws of Osun State, 2002. The prosecution team, led by the state Solicitor-General, Mrs Abiola Adewemimo, called six witnesses and tendered several exhibits during the prosecution. Group demand arrest and prosecution of Sen. Shaaba Lafiagi over murder of 3 youths in Lafiaji

Kwara Must Change is calling on the federal government to immediately effect the arrest and prosecution of Senator Shaaba lafiagi, over the gruesome killing of 3 youths in Lafiagi town. The murder of the three youths took place during the November 17 protest against the poor representation provided by Mr. Shaaba Lafiagi, the senator representing Kwara North Senatorial District. Kwara Must Change had, on November 23, petitioned several agencies, including Police, Army, Federal Ministry of Justice, National Human Rights Commission and others, to demand a proper investigation, arrest and prosecution of the culprits and to get compensation for the victims’ families.
