Real Madrid manager and former 3 time world best player,Zinedine Zidane has confessed that his Real Madrid star and 5 times Ballon D'Or holder, Cristiano Ronaldo who recently declared himself as the best player in the world is by far better than him.

The Portuguese Captain had recently said that, ''He's the best player in the history of football''.

But when reporters asked Zidane to compare Ronaldo to himself as a player, the Real Madrid manager said, "Cristiano Ronaldo is better than me by far, but I'm not bothered because I had a good career."

Zidane went further to say, "He'll always be up here for me. “Many things have been said about him, and what he does out on the field every match is phenomenal.

"The other day I said that a player could come here and stay for 15 or 20 years and he'll never do what he's done. “He's made history at the club and will continue to do so and I hope he'll retire here." Reacting to the claim of Ronaldo that he is the best in history, Zidane said that's true. He insisted also that Ronaldo is the best player in history.

He said: "The stats speak for themselves.
