Stop using and dumping PDP members, Mu’azu threatens Jonathan

The National Chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to stop using and dumping members of the party. He said the idea of someone working for the party and others reaping the fruits must stop. Mu’azu spoke in Abuja on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party, which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan. The campaign is being headed by a former Chairman of the party, Senator Amodu Ali. Mu’azu said it was injustices like this that were making members of the party to defect to the opposition political parties. 63 PDP and APC senators sign to impeach Jonathan

No fewer than 63 senators have signalled their intentions to commence impeachment moves against President Goodluck Jonathan, just as 215 members of the House of Representatives have allegedly signed the impeachment register. Daily Sun gathered yesterday evening that eight senators on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had joined the ranks of All Progressives Congress (APC) to start the impeachment process. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have no other choice than listen to the advise of the nations security agencies which call for the election postponement, citing security reasons. While it may be true that the security agencies seems to be influenced by some political considerations, we must remain calm and give peace a chance since the action is still within the law.
