CONFUSION AS FIGHTER JETS CONTINUE TO CRASH

In the last few months, several military choppers belonging to the Nigerian Air Force has reportedly been crashing without any proper explanation from the military authority. More worrisome is the fact that, these crashes never stops, they continue to happen on a daily basis.  In all of these crashes, valuable human lives being lost. Skilled and valuable military workers like pilots, who are very short in supply continue to loss their lives and we are yet to be concerned about this growing trend of crashes, neither have we sort to prevent such from re-occurring. Group raises alarm, as flood takes over Oloje community in Ilorin

Kwara Must Change is hereby alerting the state government and the general public that flood has taken over oloje community in Ilorin west local government area of Kwara state. This is as a result of lack of drainage system to control the Atake river in the area and numerous appeal to government over the years have fallen on deaf hears. There is no drainage system in Oloje community and as a result, Atake river has always flooded the community, sometimes claiming lives in the process. Kwara Must Change members in the area can recall at least, four lives that have been lost in this unfortunate situation. The last one was very pathetic. A young man of about twenty years old, who is the only surviving child of his parent lost his dear life to the flood, thereby throwing the entire community in mourning. 17 major human right abuses have been identified under President Goodluck Jonathan's administration by the Kaduna based human and civil rights activist, Comrade Shehu Sani and the activist believes that on this reason, Nigerians shouldn't vote Goodluck Jonathan if he stand as a candidate in 2015. Fourteen years after the practice and phenomenon of Constituency projects began to evolve in the legislative practice and appropriation process of the 4th Republic, the phenomenon has grown to become pervasive across the Federation with both Federal and state legislatures now fully embracing the practice. Yet, nearly a decade and half on, there is still no clarity regarding the practice, with respect to any form of agreed framework guiding its implementation.
