ANN Presidential candidate, Olawepo Hashim volunteers at a remote village in Kano, heart of Northern Nigeria.

Mr Rights gathered that this silent campaign is what the ANN candidate, Hashim has been doing over the past 10 months without much publicity.

He believes that a serious presidential campaign must be rooted in the grassroot before going on air and that is exactly what he has focused on.

President Goodluck Jonathan on Thursday said his administration’s strategy against corruption was to strengthen the capability of institutions to nip the menace in the bud. By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat Many years after Rwandan genocide of 1994 between Hutu and Tutsi which claimed over 1,000,000 lives, certain revelations were made as a result of critical analysis of the incident. It was revealed that, going by the media reports in 1994, the Rwandan genocide was often portrayed as a conflict based on ancient hatred between people who had been killing each other in such a manner for hundreds of years. However,those media reports were greatly misleading and proved incorrect after critical analysis. Hutu and Tutsi were not ethnic groups, but economic/political class divide. The National Chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to stop using and dumping members of the party. He said the idea of someone working for the party and others reaping the fruits must stop. Mu’azu spoke in Abuja on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party, which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan. The campaign is being headed by a former Chairman of the party, Senator Amodu Ali.
