How would police survive without corruption?

Without corruption, there won't be anything called Nigerian police.This is the basic truth we can't run away from because our police is strictly run by corrupt money,which is taken forcefully from citizens.

As sad and cruel this may seems, any day the police stop collecting bribe forcefully from their victims,the police institution as a whole will collapse within 2 months.

Let me tell you why. In 2017, police submitted a budget of about N1.2 trillion to the National Assembly. Bit guess how much they got in the budget? N36billion. From N1.2 trillion, to N36billion. They got less than 4% of what they needed to work.

So, where will the remaining money come from? Extortion and Corruption In the budget proposal, police stated that they have about 14000 vehicles and to fuel them, they require N26billion.

Yet,their budget for the year is just N36billion. How will they run the police without corruption?

Until we answer this question,we can't find solution to police brutality.

Eligibility For 2015: S-court Dismisses Suit Against Jonathan ABUJA-The Supreme Court, Tuesday, dismissed the suit seeking to stop President Goodluck Jonathan from vying for a re-election next year. A five-man panel of Justices of the apex court presided over by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Mahmud Mohammed, struck out the appeal which was filed before it by a Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, from Adamawa State, Dr. Umar Ardo. Stop using and dumping PDP members, Mu’azu threatens Jonathan

The National Chairman of the ruling People’s Democratic Party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, has told President Goodluck Jonathan to stop using and dumping members of the party. He said the idea of someone working for the party and others reaping the fruits must stop. Mu’azu spoke in Abuja on Tuesday at the inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Organisation of the party, which was attended by President Goodluck Jonathan. ELECTION POSTPONEMENT-THERE IS NO CAUSE FOR VIOLENCE

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have no other choice than listen to the advise of the nations security agencies which call for the election postponement, citing security reasons. While it may be true that the security agencies seems to be influenced by some political considerations, we must remain calm and give peace a chance since the action is still within the law. Although, there are reasons to be worried. Nigerians must be worried that, this government has had 6 years to fix the security of the nation, but it has failed to do so.
